Rules, Restrictions, and Disclaimers
Participation in this Festival is entirely voluntary. Guests know that participation in festival activities involves the consumption of alcoholic beverages and this may affect their perceptions and reactions. Guests shall accept responsibility for their conduct, behavior and actions and absolve the Northern California Homebrewers Organization of any and all responsibility for their conduct, behavior and actions. Participation includes any guests that may be present at organization activities, wherever they may be held.
Both Festival and Non-festival goers will receive a wrist band (different colors). The wrist band must be worn and visible at all times. Lake Francis staff may question you if you are not wearing your wrist band. There is no replacement for lost wrist bands.
Children and Non-Fest Campers
A parent or guardian MUST supervise children; they are NOT to be left unattended. Lake Francis Resort and NCHF will NOT be providing any form of childcare. The Resort demands all children be Directly supervised in ALL areas of the resort. Parents are solely responsible for their children and their actions. General Campers and children are allowed in the festival area, but will not be served alcohol. Everyone is responsible for enforcing this rule.
Each person over the age of 2, whether they will be attending the actual Homebrewers’ Festival or not, must be registered and pay for camping. The NCHF organization is required to pay Lake Francis for each person attending. To consume alcohol, you must 21 years old or older and present proof of age if asked. It is NCHO policy that everyone attending the festival must pay for camping. There are no exceptions.
The dinner is not a standalone event. In order to attend the dinner, you must purchase a festival or camping admission.
Although dogs are permitted in Lake Francis Resort, we ask that there be NO dogs at the Friday Dinner or running loose on the NCHF Festival Grounds. To that end, dogs may be allowed in the festival area as long as they are on a leash and confined in a participant booth.
Commemeratives must be picked up at the festival, or you must pay for shipping.
Refunds
Dinner — full refunds will be given up to 3 weeks before the dinner. To request a refund, notification must be made to the registrar, by phone, fax, or email. Refund requests received less than 3 weeks before the festival, will be given only if the ticket can be sold, and not after the Wednesday before the festival. Under no circumstances will refunds be given to those that do not notify the registrar within the above deadline, or that simply miss the dinner - for whatever reason.
Camping/Festival/Meal Tickets - Full refunds for camping will be given up until 1 week before the festival. No refunds will be given after this date.
